So how did you land such an exciting job?

I won MTV’s “Search for a VJ” competition. I was up against 4,000 other people and went through 3 months of auditions.

Fun.. Spontaneous… Illegal.. 

 

When you were young, is this the field that you planned to be working in?

My mum never allowed me to watch television when I was younger so I never knew this job even existed. I thought I was going to grow up and be in a book or something. 

 

Do you have any advice for those who would LOVE to have your job some day? 

Take out a hit on me.

 

If you weren't working as a  TV Presenter , what do you think you would be doing? 

I would be a DJ. Make things easy as you don’t have to change many letters from VJ to DJ. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is it like  interviewing   some of the worlds hottest bands each week?

Miserable.. Depressing… No only kidding. It’s amazing meeting such a broad variety of interesting personalities and successful people.

 

Who is the most exciting CELEB that you have met so far? 

Anyone but Mischa Barton. Perhaps Cypress Hill? Or more recently I met Samantha Ronson. She was pretty cool. 

 

Are there any negative aspects? of your job role?

Many late nights followed by early mornings and working 7 days a week most weeks.

 

Is there much travel involved in this line of work? 

Yes there is. So far this year I have traveled to New Zealand to host Snow Jam where I got to snow-board with Lil John and soon I am going to LA for a few weeks. 

 

Has anything crazy ever caught you off guard on camera before?

Someone vomited on my foot while I was presenting at Good Vibes.

 

What do you think fashion and beauty is all about? 

Being yourself.. Being original.. (Get as much sleep as possible)
