We challenged a class of seriously creative visual merchandising studentsto take on a Supré window – and the results were awesome

We love developing rising talent in retail, and that’s why we’ve partnered up with the cool kids at RMIT University’s Diploma of visual merchandising. The collab gives students the chance to be mentored by Supre’s head of VM, Rowie Kelly, and work together as a team to design and install a custom Supre window installation! So. Cool.

“I’ve always found the best lessons come from hands on experience,” Rowie says of the project.“This opportunity creates an environment where students get to work with the needs of a real client.”

After some valuable sessions with Rowie, the class was briefed to come up with a window display expressing the Supre brand.

“We challenged ourselves to create an installation that embodies the young, fun loving Supre girl,” says Student Kaitlyn Taylor. Classmate Katherine Francisco says it was a chance to make a strong statement through visual communication.

“We wanted to reinforce and empower the message of girl power and the strength of being with your friends.”

Using a mix of modern textures like Perspex and mesh (plus a whole lot of pink) the finished design is like a futuristic playground you just want to walk into.Playing on the interactive vibe, the class even set up a selfie mirror!

We quiz a few of the creative brains behind the window
