ABOUT SUPRÉ

1. When was SUPRÉ founded and by whom?
SUPRÉ was founded in 1984 by Hans and Helen van der Meulen. SUPRÉ is a privately owned and operated business.

2. What's the SUPRÉ corporate culture?
SUPRÉ is everything FUN. From the vibrant, glam team to the vibrant and up-beat music played in the stores! We value all of our customers and do our best every time to help them find what they are looking for.

3. Where can I find a SUPRÉ store?
Just click on 'FIND A STORE'. Here you will find every store's full address details, contact phone numbers, store opening days and times, and even a map to tell you how to get there and the distance from your suburb.  

4. Where are the clothes designed/manufactured?
SUPRÉ clothes are designed and developed in Australia by our Head Designers and our very own in-house Design Team. Manufacturing varies between local and offshore production depending on the season.

5. Is SUPRÉ a franchise?
SUPRÉ is not a franchised company.

6. Is there any risk involved in entering my personal details at www.supre.com.au?
SUPRÉ online is a safe and secure site. Have a browse through our Privacy Policy, which outlines our standards in maintaining a secure and safe site and ensuring that your personal details are only utilised by SUPRÉ and our immediate promoters.

7. How often is the website updated?
On a daily basis new fashion, entertainment, jobs, promotions, and competitions are updated and changed. This is to give you something new to look at and read about and most importantly - get inspired by! New arrivals in the Online Shop appear at least once a week, so don't forget to take a look to keep up to date with the lastest fashion.

8. Where can I find out about upcoming trends, campaigns and other news?
SUPRÉ Online distributes a couple of newsletters each month, which keeps SUPRÉ Members up to date with all the latest trends, Online offers and specials, fashion focuses, competitions and in store campaigns and promotions.

9. Are SUPRÉ sizes similar to other companies?
SUPRÉ sizes correspond to the Australian Standard. There is a size chart available on the website to help customers have a better understanding on the size they should buy. Customers should understand that this is based on an 'average' and will not apply to all customers 100% as body shapes and weights vary.

10. How can I work out what SUPRÉ size I am?
Match your Australian women's size to the SUPRÉ size. SUPRÉ sizes start at 3XS through to XL.

When you are on the SUPRÉ Online Shop section, click though to the SUPRÉ size chart for guidence. Take your own measurements of your bust, waist and hips and then the compare yours to the chart to find your perfect fit!

11. How much is the shrinkage of SUPRÉ garments?
If you follow the SUPRÉ washing instructions on each garment there should be no shrinkage of the garments.

 


 

WORKING AT SUPRÉ

12. What kind of experience is required to work at SUPRÉ?
There is no essential work experience required to join the SUPRÉ Team on a casual basis. The most important thing when applying for a position is that you are keen to join the team and work hard (and having lots of fun at the same time!), have a strong personality, enjoy talking to people and have a passion for fashion!

When applying for a position as a Store Manager not only do you require all of the above but also have at least two years experience in retail sales, stock and confidence in leading a team.

13. How old do I need to be to join the SUPRÉ Team?
To join the SUPRÉ Team you must be at least 15 years old. If you're not quite old enough hold on tight because we'll definitely want you to join the team when you are old enough!

14. What is involved in a position as a Casual Team Member?
The main focus of a casual team member is sales and creating the atmosphere in store. By this we mean creating fun and excitement and to ensure our customers love their shopping experience at SUPRÉ.

15. What is involved in a position as a store manager?
The Store Managers main focus is the same as that of a Casual Team member, but must also have the ability to lead, motivate and encourage the team to be sales orientated as well as provide the best cusomer service that we have to offer.

A Store Managers role also includes the daily running of the store including opening and closing procedures, merchandising of stock and to push to achieve sales budgets. You must have a good understanding of business operations, be creative and most importantly be able to think outside the box.

16. How do I apply for a position at SUPRÉ?
To apply for a job with us, check the availablities by clicking the "WORK AT SUPRÉ" link down the bottom of the page. Here you can see if there is a job available to suit you, and you can apply directly through the online form.

You can also check your nearest store for availabilities, by asking for the Store Manager. You will be asked to leave your details (having your CV with you is preferred), and we will contact you when we have a position vacant.

Also keep a look out for Recruitment Nights, held occasionally at selected stores when we are looking to recruit new Team Members. These are advertised on posters at the stores.

17. How do I become a model for SUPRÉ?
SUPRÉ models are usually selected from modelling agencies like Vivien's, Chadwick's, Shelley's, Priscillas, Chicand Scene. We often use SUPRÉ Team members in our Sydney based photo shoots.
